Visit the DeSales Crime Scene House
Designed to replicate real-world settings, the Crime Scene House allows students to conduct crime scene investigations, execute search warrant simulations, collect and document evidence, practice forensic photography, and develop interviewing techniques. Faculty can create a wide range of scenarios that challenge students to analyze information, make critical decisions, and apply professional procedures in controlled environments.
Beyond criminal investigations, the facility supports simulations involving emergency management, disaster response, public safety operations, and courtroom proceedings. Multiple configurable spaces allow instructors to tailor experiences to specific course objectives and emerging industry challenges.
The Crime Scene House also includes a dedicated classroom, enabling faculty to seamlessly integrate instruction, simulation, and debriefing within a single learning environment.

The Crime Scene House provides students with an immersive environment to apply classroom knowledge in realistic investigative, emergency response, and public safety scenarios. Used by students in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Political Science, and Law & Society programs, the facility bridges theory and practice through hands-on learning experiences.
