Biography

A singer of tremendous versatility, Janellen Farmer received her musical education at the world renowned Curtis Institute of Music and at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. She has also studied choral conducting under the guidance of James Jordan and James Whitbourn at Oxford University.

Ms. Farmer has sung in all genres including opera, jazz, rock, pop and cabaret performances in such august venues as Philadelphia's Academy of Music and Carnegie Hall, The Cabaret at Odettes in New Hope, PA. and The Four Seasons and Ritz Carleton Hotels. She has sung with conductors Leonard Bernstein, Anton Coppola, Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos, and Ricardo Muti.

Along with daughter, dancer Sarah Vogan, Ms. Farmer owns and is director of voice studies for The Studio of Valley Forge.
