He worked on Rock and Roll Hall of Fame singer Darlene Love’s album Introducing Darlene Love produced by Steven Van Zandt and Columbia Records as well as with Julie Andrews on her new musical adaptation of her children's book The Great American Mousical. Ryan was the recipient of the 2023 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Music Direction in Philadelphia. He is also an AUDELCO Award Winner in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of the Arts.
