Biography

Dr. Trevor B. Williams is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Theology.

His research is in the areas of systematic and philosophical theology, sacramental theology, the reception of Vatican II, biblical interpretation, and the relationship between theology and popular culture. His dissertation was focused on the French philosopher Emmanuel Falque.

He is the co-editor of Theological Discourses on Social Media, published with Routledge in 2025, and is currently editing a volume on theology and video games for the “Theology, Religion, and Pop Culture series.” He has recently published articles in Logos, Spiritus, Philosophy and Theology, the Journal of Catholic Social Thought, and Münchener Theologische Zeitschrift.

Dr. Williams enjoys participating in parish ministry, adult formation, and OCIA. He has actively served in this capacity for over ten years.
